Southampton Christian Fellowship

Who we are...

Southampton Christian Fellowship (SCF), came into being in the early 1980's with the purchase of the Augustine Centre. Formerly, the AOG church had existed in another location and was known as the Pentecostal Church. However, it felt right that with a move to a new building, we should have a new name … and so Southampton Christian Fellowship was born!

The Augustine Centre was originally a Church of England building that had been closed down by the diocese. We purchased it from them and began the task of transforming the inside from an old style, traditional building into a venue more adaptable for a charismatic and growing fellowship.

SCF is committed to working alongside other churches in the city of Southampton, seeking to build the Kingdom of God and see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

The Church is part of the Assemblies of God movement in Great Britain and Ireland and locally it is affiliated to the Southampton Christian Network.

The purpose of this church

is to worship God by fulfilling the command &

commission of Jesus Christ through the power of

the Holy Spirit
