Our Vision

The purpose of Riverside Family Church is to give every man, woman and child within our community
the opportunity of understanding the gospel and to provide a church where they can grow
in ministry for the glory of God.

This vision is outworked through our CORE VALUES

         What a person believes tells you what they value.
 
       At Riverside Family Church we have four key values which
       shape our vision to be more and more like Jesus Christ.
       Just as jigsaw pieces fit together to build a bigger picture,
       we believe that these values link together to shape who we
       are and what we do.

Worship                   We believe that we were designed to live our lives to love God and our neighbours.
                                                 We express this love by knowing Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and by living the kind of life He lived.

Relationship            Being part of a church is not like being a member of a club.
                                                 The Bible describes the church as a body where people share their lives and live in relationship with
                                                 each other by mutual support, encouragement, care of one another and sharing faith. 
                                                  We are a family.

Membership            We all need to belong because this is really important to us.
                                                 Being part of Riverside Family Church is about being committed to a family where we can grow and
                                                 support each other.

Discipleship            Being a Christian is about sharing our lives with others and helping them to discover Jesus.
                                                Christianity is a shared life where we use our gifts to share the good news of Jesus.
