Unfortunately our Community Cafe has had to close.

Welcome to the homepage for the community cafe project that we run in our local area, Northam

Kipper Cafe opened to the public in October 2008 and has been very well received by residents and local businesses. The vision for the cafe is that it will be an oasis for people, where they can come and experience something of God's presence as they enjoy great quality food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

The History...

It was back in 2001 that God first gave me a vision to open a Christian Cafe and the vision had stayed with me, occasionally rearing its head but then disappearing again. During a prayer walk around Northam in July 2007 God clearly told me that the cafe was to be opened up in the precinct area of Northam and that it was to be a means of serving the community, providing a safe place for local residents and being a place where people could know something of God's love, hope and peace as they ate and drank. It took over a year to get all the details sorted and carry out the renovations on the property but God was faithful and we are now established in the area.

The Cafe...

The Future...

Our hope is that the cafe will continue to serve the local people and provide a place for people to meet with friends, enjoy good quality food and drink and experience something of God right at the heart of their community. We are wanting to make use of the cafe for other projects also and we are currently in negotiations to run educational courses and creative arts workshops at the venue.

Come and visit us and experience Kipper Cafe for yourself...

We are open Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm, serving a variety of coffees, teas and cold drinks, sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and jacket potatoes. And of course, no cafe would be complete without a good range of tasty cakes and snacks!

I Look forward to seeing you there soon!
