Christian Fellowship...


Paul & Janice Finn

Paul and Janice came to Southampton in 1975, after graduating from theological college.They felt clearly called by God to lead the Assemblies of God church here in the city. Under their leadership, SCF has grown and developed in many ways and now has numerous ministries that impact the lives of countless people in this city and beyond.
 
Paul and Janice are a very pastoral couple who lead the church with passion and integrity. They are spiritual parents to many and believe that the church is a place where the love and power of God is to be tangibly experienced. Paul and Janice also have a deep concern for marriage and are very busy in marriage counselling, marriage enrichment and preparation, and have a growing national profile in ministry to marriage. They are both qualified counsellors (members of ACC) and Paul holds a Masters degree from Southampton University. Janice serves the Fellowship in numerous ways including administration, worship leading, mentoring and counselling.

 Neil & Julia Maddock

Neil and Julia come from a creative arts background and have spent a number of years working with Christian Theatre companies both in the UK and overseas. They have a passion to see the Gospel message communicated in creative ways that will appeal to all people of all ages.

Neil is currently working part time at the church as a Pastoral assistant and also manages the local Kipper Cafe, an outreach from the church into the community. Julia currently spends her time looking after their young children as a full time mum! Neil is a regular worship leader and preacher at the church and is also a singer/songwriter. As a couple, they have pastoral responsibility for the students within the church and also co-ordinate the running of the church's Care Groups.

James & Louise Barton

James & Louise started life in Southampton as students at the University. They liked it so much that they stayed! Together they head up the youth work at SCF and are also responsible for some of the community projects that operate from the church such as, Kidz Klub, Tiny Treasures and The Bus.
 
Outside of the church James is a NHS manager based in Bournemouth whilst Louise is a midwife here in Southampton. Their heart and passion is to connect all that goes on in SCF with the community that is around us.

 



Andy & Claire Finn

Andy is a trained teacher working in a local primary school. He     is the Worship Pastor at SCF, responsible for co-ordinating the     Worship Team Ministry. Andy has a passion for worship and     creativity and is a gifted songwriter who has trained under the     ministry of contemporary songwriters, Chris Bowater and Andy     Bromley (Worship Academy).

Claire is a qualified nurse and at present is enjoying being a full-time mum! She has overall     responsibility for the Junior Church and provides catering for the Marriage Course. Together,     they run Fullness Of Life, a social group for the over 50's. Both Claire and Andy have a desire to     see people released into their gifting, so that they can serve God to their full potential,     enrich the church and make a positive difference in the world.
